BSHS teacher receives Horizon Award from state

Diane Debacker, Kansas Commissioner of Education, announced Monday that a Bonner Springs High School teacher is among 31 teachers in the state to receive the 2011 Horizon Award.
Andrew Addington, now a second-year social studies teacher at BSHS, received the award, which is given to exemplary first-year teachers in Kansas. Addington is a member of the Kansas Exemplary Educator network as a result of receiving the award.
