The Leavenworth County Commission meets regularly at 9 a.m. each Monday and Thursday at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, 300 Walnut St. in Leavenworth.

Agenda for the week of Jan. 23:

Monday, Jan. 23

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business/administrator's report

  • Approval of minutes of Jan. 19
  • Approval of Kansas Department of Transportation grant
  • Approval of contract for mold remediation services at the courthouse's emergency operations center

Commissioners will review bills for the month of January for the remainder of the day.

Tuesday, Jan. 24

3 p.m.: Leavenworth County Development Corporation infrastructure meeting

Wednesday, Jan. 25

11:30 a.m.: Leavenworth County Port Authority meeting

Thursday, Jan. 26

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business/administrator's report

  • Approval of minutes of Jan. 23
  • Approval of agenda for week of Jan. 30
  • Monthly budget tracking analysis
  • Approval of AOS hardware funding

9:30 a.m.: Jeff Joseph, planning and zoning

  • Case No. 42-11: Consideration of the preliminary and final plat for Elston Estates (2 lots). Request submitted by Mark and Lori Elston.
  • Case No. 45-11: Consideration of the preliminary plat for 127th Street subdivision (1 lot). Request submitted by HSBC via Joe Herring Survey Company.
