• Bonner Springs girls basketball 52, Wellsville 28

The Braves cruised in the first round of the Top Gun Tournament on Tuesday, holding their second-straight opponent to under 30 points. In fact, no team has scored more than 38 points on 10-0 Bonner Springs yet this season.

Bonner Springs will play Baldwin (6-5) at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 in the tournament’s second round. A third game is possible on Saturday before the Braves travel to Piper at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
