Basehor-Linwood grad earns degree from Iowa college
Basehor-Linwood High School is located at 2108 N. 155th St. in Basehor.

A Basehor-Linwood High School graduate was one of about 440 students to receive bachelor’s degrees from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, this spring.
Ashley Maria Jeannin, a 2008 BLHS graduate, received a Bachelor of Arts in political science at the college’s commencement ceremonies May 21.
Jeannin was a member of Grinnell’s women’s basketball team for four years, being selected three times to the Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference team.
This fall, she will become a high school Spanish teacher in Florence, S.C., as part of the Teach For America program.
