The Leavenworth County Commission meets regularly at 9 a.m. each Monday and Thursday at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, 300 Walnut St. in Leavenworth.

Monday, April 2

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business/administrator's report

  • Approval of minutes of March 29
  • Pat Barnhardt — Leavenworth City/County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council request for funding

9:30 a.m.: Jeff Joseph, planning and zoning director — request for temporary special use permit for Joseph Sheehan Road Race

Wednesday, April 4

1:30 p.m.: Leavenworth County Animal Control Committee meeting

Thursday, April 5

Treasurer's offices will be closed from 8 to 9 a.m. because of Department of Revenue software updates.

9 a.m.: Public comment/administrative business/administrator's report

  • Approval of minutes of April 2
  • Approval of agenda for week of April 9

9:15 a.m.: Diane Collins, human resources director — PTO recommendation

9:30 a.m.: Jeff Joseph, planning and zoning director — County Road 1 moratorium extension
