Basehor will have two craft shows Saturday, Nov. 3
Basehor will play host to two craft shows Saturday, Nov. 3, featuring a wide variety of jewelry, art and more.
The annual crafts fair at Holy Angels Parish will be at Father Quinlan Hall, 15438 Leavenworth Road, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. It will feature 25 booths with crafts such as dried flower arrangements, woodworking, wreaths, jewelry and Christmas crafts.
The event is sponsored by the Catholic Women’s Organization of the parish, and there is no admission fee.
For more information, contact Annie Clark at 913-724-2212.
The 29th annual craft show at Basehor-Linwood High School will also be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday with $1 admission for adults and 50 cents for children ages 12 and under.
There will be 91 booths at the fair, and BLHS Project Grad will offer lunch and concessions.
Sponsored by the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, profits from the show help fund its service projects, especially the scholarship program. Last year, the organization funded more than $2,000 in scholarships for local high school students and donated to CommunityLINK, Victory Junction Children’s Camp, BLHS Project Grad, American Heart Association and Leavenworth County 4-H Leadership.
