The Leavenworth County Commission meets regularly at 9 a.m. each Monday and Thursday at the Leavenworth County Courthouse, 300 Walnut St. in Leavenworth.

Monday, Oct. 8

9 a.m. Public comment/administrative business

• Approval of minutes of Oct. 4 meeting

• Public Works/Solid Waste monthly reports/long-range road and capital improvement recommendations and projects for design

Thursday, Oct. 11

9 a.m. Public comment/administrative business

• Approval of minutes of Oct. 8 meeting

• Approval of agenda for the week of Oct. 15

11:30 a.m.: Leavenworth County Development Corporation meeting at Tonganoxie VFW Hall, 910 E. First St.

I sure hope 147th st. from Fairmont road to Leavenworth road gets approved for being paved.
