Alec Otting shot an 83 to lead the Basehor-Linwood boys golf team to a 10th-place finish at Wednesday’s Mill Valley Invitational in Olathe. Tristan Abts, meanwhile, led the way for Bonner Springs, which finished 10th overall with a total score of 344.

A trio of Kansas men, including a father and son from Tonganoxie and Lawrence, were indicted Wednesday in federal court on a variety of drug charges related to the sale of the now-banned synthetic marijuana product known as “K2.”
