- For a team that entered Friday on a seven-game losing streak, the Basehor-Linwood girls basketball team could take solace in a 45-30 defeat at Bonner Springs. Conversely, the Braves are glad they got out of that one unscathed. Instead of putting the team away after a 14-point halftime lead, the third quarter belonged to the Bobcats, 10-5. By then, the comeback had grown exhausting and Bonner Springs ran away with the game.
