Stolen cars recovered in Linwood

Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office recovered three stolen vehicles near Main Street in Linwood on Jan. 4.
Undersheriff Jim Sherley said all three vehicles were pickup trucks, one of which was stolen from K.C. Construction in Basehor. The other two trucks had been reported stolen from Independence, Mo., and Kansas City, Mo.
Sherley said there are no suspects, and it’s unknown whether the thefts are connected and what the vehicles were used for.
