Senior Anna Deegan and sophomore Kaleigh Taylor took the court despite being slowed by the bug, but the Braves had little trouble putting away Turner, 52-27, in their return to league play. The Braves (13-2, 7-1 in the Kaw Valley League) went into halftime up 27-8 after closing the half with a 10-0 run and never looked back, although they did show the marks of a recent road trip.
