Basehor police begin seatbelt campaign

The Basehor Police Department started its seatbelt campaign Monday along with other Kansas law enforcement agencies.
Agencies across the state will be particularly vigilant when patrolling around schools, and officers will issue citations to any individual refusing to obey traffic laws, whether it’s for speeding, texting or failing to buckle up.
The campaign will continue through Friday, March 22.
