Historical sites sponsor summer history hunt
An interactive History Hunt sponsored by the Museums & Historical Sites of Wyandotte County begins next week.
Participants can start exploring on May 20 and have until Sept. 14 to complete the treasure hunt. However, those who finish earlier better their chance of winning a prize in the History Hunt weekly drawing.
To participate, pick up a passport at any participating site or online at VisitKansasCityKS.com. Visit each site and answer a mystery question on the passport, then turn the completed passport in to any participating site to be registered to win prizes. Participants also can connect with the hunt on Facebook and upload their discoveries for additional chances to win cool prizes.
