Basehor library hosting Super Bowl Party Snacks cooking class
Basehor Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 2, isn't just about the matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks, it's also about the delicious snacks and food.
That's why the Basehor Community Library is teaching area residents the ins-and-outs of everything a person needs to know when prepping the big game's meal or snack table.
Janice Garcia and Susan Eder are instructing the class this Saturday at the library and will share creative twists on some favorite Super Bowl appetizers, like Buffalo Chicken and Blue Cheese Dip. The class will also include a quick hands on lesson in making your own salsa and guacamole.
Participants need to bring a cutting board, knife and a small container to take home their own salsa.
Class size is limited and registration is required. Class fee is $5.00.
