Basehor Go Dog Go event Sept. 13 to benefit LCHS
Basehor Basehor Community Library and Wagg’n Tails Day Spa are joining forces again to host Go Dog Go, a benefit for the Leavenworth County Humane Society.
The event will be Sept. 13 in Basehor City Park.
Paid pre-registration gets humans a T-shirt, and a bandana for their dog, as well as a goody bag with items from sponsors and vendors.
Registration is open through the Basehor Community Library website, in person at the library, or be emailing LvnCoHS@live.com. Participants can also register online by submitting payment through the link on the Go Dog Go event page on Facebook, bit.ly/1jmgkrC.
Run for $20, walk for $20 or do both for $30 in advance. On-site registration will also be available. Dogs must be at least 4 months of age, healthy, on-leash, wearing an ID tag, vaccinated against rabies, and walked by someone age 12 or older. Dogs in any stage of heat will not be allowed to participate. The event is primarily for people and dogs, but mini-horses, pigs, lambs, goats would be allowed to participate on a case-by-case basis.
