BLHS senior noted among incoming Pitt State students
Basehor-Linwood High School senior Quinnlyn Walcott was among 37 future freshmen selected for Pittsburg State University’s fall Honors College.
The PSU Honors College is open to incoming freshmen with an ACT composite score of 28 or higher or an SAT composite score of 1240 or higher. In addition, they must have completed a pre-college curriculum and have a high-school GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Students selected for the Honors College are eligible to receive scholarship assistance ranging from $2,200 a year to $9,500 a year.
Walcott plans to major in chemistry (pre-pharmacy).
