Several area students were among the more than 1,250 candidates for degree from Kansas University this fall.

Basehor graduates included: Megan Arnold, Master of Business Administration; Jason Brady, Master of Business Administration; Brittany Laney, Bachelor of Arts in biology; Kortney Rist, Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a sociology minor; and Megan Wheeler, Bachelor of Arts in human biology.

Linwood graduates were Shelly Journey, Graduate Certificate in autism spectrum disorders, and Nicole Perry, Doctor of Philosophy in sociology.

Additionally, Mackenzie Mitchener of Bonner Springs earned a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering.
