BLHS football players earn All-KVL honors

Several Basehor-Linwood football players recently received recognition for their performances throughout the season when the All-Kaw Valley League teams were released.

Ryan Potter (linebacker), Jahron McPherson (defensive back) and Nick Fisher (tight end) were all named to the All-KVL first team. Chas Rollo (running back) and Luke Murphy (offensive line) were named to the second team. Jackson Brimblecom (wide receiver), Paul Frith (defensive line), Justin Phillips (quarterback), Garrett Draper (offensive line) and Fisher (defensive line) were given honorable mention.

The Bobcats (6-4) will be in action at 7 p.m. tonight as they host Eudora (7-3) in the sectional playoffs.
