Semi trailer hits 2 buffalo east of Tonganoxie

A semi-tractor trailer struck two buffalo early Monday just east of Tonganoxie. The vehicle, which was headed east on U.S. Highway 24-40, struck and killed two buffalo that had wandered onto the highway between Stone Creek/South Park Drive and 206th Street.
