- Bonner Springs senior Anna Deegan scored 23 points and freshman Julianne Jackson added 21 points to lead the Braves past Lansing, 64-46, on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the BSHS boys took a 13-9 first quarter lead against the Lions, but Lansing ran away with the game to hand the Braves a 51-29 defeat.

- Bonner Springs seniors Anna Deegan and Haley Hoffine each led the Braves with 14 points apiece in a 56-43 victory against Bishop Ward on Friday. On the boys side, BSHS senior Austen Twombley was the only player to reach double figures, leading all scorers with 14 points.

- Senior Anna Deegan and sophomore Kaleigh Taylor took the court despite being slowed by the bug, but the Braves had little trouble putting away Turner, 52-27, in their return to league play.
The Braves (13-2, 7-1 in the Kaw Valley League) went into halftime up 27-8 after closing the half with a 10-0 run and never looked back, although they did show the marks of a recent road trip.
