Fred Henry Theden, 68, Bonner Springs, formerly of Laurie, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at the Bonner Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bonner Springs. Following Cremation, Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at the Alden - Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, where friends will gather at the visitation for one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be sent to the Kansas City Hospice in care of the funeral home.
Mr. Theden was born June 6, 1939, in Kansas City, Kan. He farmed in this area for over 30 years before moving to mid-Missouri 20 years ago to live near his brother George in Iberia. Fred graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1957, attended the University of Kansas and was an avid Jayhawk fan.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Vernie Jean Hill-Johnson in 2004, and his younger brother, George Emil Theden in 2006. He is survived by two children, Fred H.
