Margaret Saunders 1928 - 2008 Bonner Springs
Services for Margaret "Madge" Saunders, 80, of Bonner Springs, were Monday, March 31, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs. Burial will be in Edwardsville Cemetery.
Mrs. Saunders died Thursday, March 27, at the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Mo.
She was born March 24, 1928, in Milford, Mo., and lived her entire adult life in the Bonner Springs and Edwardsville areas.
She had previously worked for Permatex in Kansas City, Kan., for 21 years before retiring in 1992. She was a longtime member of Edwardsville Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Howard Cecil Saunders, of the home; three daughters, Linda Budimlija, Olathe, Theresa Saunders, Lincoln, Mo., and Fern Saunders, Bonner Springs; a son, James Saunders, Gladstone, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas City Hospice.
