Ida Marie Alexander 1912 - 2008 Bonner Springs

Mass of Christian Burial for Ida Marie Alexander, 95, of Bonner Springs, was Friday, April 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shawnee. Burial was in Bonner Springs Cemetery in Bonner Springs.
Mrs. Alexander died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born June 13, 1912, at home on the farm in rural Leavenworth County and was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker for most of her life and worked at the Sacred Heart Catholic Grade School in the cafeteria while her granddaughters attended school.
Her husband of 25 years, Harry Alexander, died in 1970. A great-granddaughter also died earlier.
Survivors include a son, Harry G. Alexander, Prairie Village; and a daughter, Marcia Pierce, Bonner Springs; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
