Wayne C. Hooser Jr. 1929 - 2008 Bonner Springs

Graveside services for Wayne C. Hooser Jr., 78, of Bonner Springs, were Monday, April 14, at Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Hooser died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Delmar Gardens Nursing Home in Overland Park.
He was born July 19, 1929, in Ponca City, Okla. He had lived in this area since the 1950s.
Mr. Hooser had previously worked for the Teamsters Union as a truck driver for many years until he retired in 1993.
Three former wives died earlier: the children's mother, Barbara L. Hooser, in 1977; Zermedia V. Hooser in 1984; and Ruby M. Hooser in 1999.
Survivors include four sons, Wayne J. and Anthony A., both of Edwardsville, Sven E., Norfolk, Va., and Shawn Q., Olathe; five daughters, Vicky L. Hooser and Jacquelyn M. Ristrow, both of Kansas City, Kan., Georgia A. Huddleston, Laport, Texas, Jody J. Eells, Edwardsville, and Jamie S. Alexander, Olathe; a brother, Oscar J., Merrimack, N.H.; a sister, Joanne Smitz, of Kansas City, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
