Graveside services for Kathryn "Shorty" L. Stapp, 86, of Kansas City, Kan., will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. Stapp died Friday Aug. 15, 2008.
She was born Feb. 15, 1922, in Basehor, the daughter of Clarence and Kathryn (Vaughan) Cline.
Her husband, Charles Dean Stapp, a son, Harry "Butch" Stone, and a grandson died earlier.
Survivors include two daughters, Delores L. Servos, Paola, Kan., and Delila P. Stapp, Butler, Mo.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

“Actually, we’ve spent more time outside lately working hardcore on our backyard doing some major landscaping. Lots of water breaks helped us through it. Since being outside so much, the warm weather doesn’t phase me anymore.”
