Macario Salazar Sr. 1934 - 2008 Bonner Springs
Services for Macario “Mac” Salazar, 74, of Bonner Springs, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Salazar died Saturday Nov. 29, 2008.
He was born Jan. 2, 1934, in Pawnee, Texas. He moved to Bonner Springs in 1967 and worked as a welder at Southwest ornamental Iron in Bonner Springs.
Survivors include 11 children, Imelda Hernandez, Juan Salazar, Jose Salazar, Tino Salazar, Chris Perez, Marisela Gardea, Lalo Salazar, Mac Salazar, Jr., Lillianna Salazar, Mida Salazar and Adriana Salazar; three sisters, Fela, Juana and Jenoveva; a brother, Guadalupe; 23 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service, also at the funeral home.
