Lawrence V. Murphy 1924 - 2008 Kansas City, Kan.

Services for Lawrence “Larry” V. Murphy, 84, of Kansas City, Kan., were Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs. Burial was in Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Murphy died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008.
He was born Nov. 16, 1924, in Cotter, Ark. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, in which he flew 35 missions in the European Theater. He retired from Sears at Tower Plaza after more than 30 years of service.
Survivors include his children, Laureen Mason, Kansas City, Kan., and Patrick Murphy, Blue Springs, Mo.; a sister, Kathleen Liles, Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 
The family suggests memorials to the Presbyterian Manor – Good Samaritan Fund, sent in care of the funeral home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
