Tommy Franklin Willis, 78, of Mulberry, Kan., and previously of Bonner Springs and Lansing, died Jan. 2, 2008, at the Arma Care Center in Arma, Kan. Graveside services were Jan. 7 at the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Visitation was prior to the service at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Mr. Willis was born on Jan. 1, 1930, in Jasper County, Ark., to Gather and Minnie Willis. He drove a log truck in the Jasper County area for several years before moving to Bonner Springs, where he worked at Inland Cold Storage in Kansas City, Kan., as a forklift driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; by a son, Tommy Ray Willis; and by a brother, Wilber Willis. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Beverly Willis of the home; four daughters, Debbie Molder, Carolyn Rhodes, Linda Wagner and Cindy Englehart; five sons, Brian Wagner of Bonner Springs; David Wagner, Dennis Wagner and Carl Wagner; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers Lewis, Walter (Idie) and Coy (Adola) Willis; and one sister, Clarise Daniels.
