Sidney Milton Lindelof 1934 - 2008 Basehor
Memorial services for Sidney Milton Lindelof, 74, of Basehor, will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at Porter Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Lindelof died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
He was born March 8, 1934, in Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Lindelof was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and was an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad for 44 years.
He was a member of Maywood Community Church, Union Pacific Old Timers Club, Wyandotte Masonic Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11499.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Gladys Carolyn; two sons, Brian and Kyle; a daughter, Julie Wilson; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Linda Urleich and Carol Young.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. before the services Thursday at the funeral home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
