Kimberly Ann Ford 1956 - 2008 Kansas City, Kan.

Services for Kimberly Ann "Kimmy" Ford, 51, of Kansas City, Kan., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 26, at Sunset Hills Christian Church, 64th Street and Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be in Edwardsville Cemetery.
Mrs. Ford died Monday June 23, 2008, surrounded by her family at Kansas City Hospice House.
She was born Sept. 14, 1956, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. the daughter of Kenny and Barbara Shaw.
Mrs. Ford graduated from Bonner Springs High School in 1974 and had worked for many years as a waitress in several area restaurants. She also had worked as a teller for Industrial State Bank since 2002.
She was an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, where she and her friends enjoyed her passion of riding for Jesus. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and was a 23-year member of the Sunset Hills Christian Church.
Her husband, Randy K. Ford, died in 2004.
Survivors include three children, Dawnelle Burns, Seoul, South Korea, Crystal Williams Independence, Mo., and Randy K. Ford II of the home; two brothers, Jeff Shaw, Bonner Springs, and Kenny Shaw, Muncie, Kan.; a sister, Cathy Shields, Bonner Springs; two half brothers, Aaron DeCavele and David Joiner; and 10 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Wyandotte County Cancer Action or the Kansas City Hospice House, sent in care of Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, 214 Oak St. Bonner Springs.
