Obituaries

Services for Robert “Bob” Eberth, 83, Basehor, were Saturday, Jan. 24, at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, Basehor. Burial was in Mt. Muncie Cemetery, Lansing.
Mr. Eberth died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Mo., after an extended illness of cancer.
He was born June 22, 1925, in Basehor, the son of Edward G. Sr. and Margaret Emma Norden Eberth.
Mr. Eberth was a farmer and lifetime member of the Lutheran church.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Martley, Basehor, Sharon Sutton, Olathe, and Karen Kourany, Lenexa; his companion, Dorothy Kovac; a brother, Floyd Eberth; and five grandsons.
