Services for Virginia L. Hubbel, 84, Basehor, were Dec. 27 at Basehor United Methodist Church, 18660 158th St., Basehor.
Burial was in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mrs. Hubbel died Dec. 23, 2008, at the home.
She was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Arcadia, Neb., the daughter of James and Ester Runnels. She was united in marriage to Floyd M. Hubbel on Nov. 3, 1945. Mrs. Hubbel was a devoted homemaker and a member of the Basehor United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Floyd Hubbel, of the home; daughter, Diana Turner, Parkville, Mo.; son, Daniel Hubbel, Bonner Springs; and one grandchild.
