Merriam — Memorial services for Harry Leonard Withers, 66, Merriam, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Private inurnment will follow.
Mr. Withers died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Mo.
He was born Nov. 29, 1942, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Harry and Nellie VanDeWall Withers. He was a graduate of Bishop Meige High School and worked as a carpenter.
On June 10, 1997, in Shawnee, he married Rosalie Ann Thomas. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three stepdaughters, Susan Martley, Basehor, Sharon Sutton, Olathe, and Karen Kauoraney, Lenexa; and four grandsons.
Visitation will precede the services at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
