Ethel Mae Hipsher 1921 - 2010 Tonganoxie

Graveside services for Ethel Mae Hipsher, 89, Tonganoxie, were Tuesday, April 13, at Mount Sidney Cemetery in Linwood.
Mrs. Hipsher died Thursday April 8, 2010, at her home.
She was born March 12, 1921, in Bonner Springs, the daughter of Jasper and Lucy (Fish) DeMaranville. Mrs. Hipsher retired in 1986 from Stokely-Van Camp Food Mfg.
Her husband, Stanley, died in 1988. Two great-grandchildren also died earlier.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald S. Hipsher, of the home, and Roger S. Hipsher, Overland Park; six daughters, Stanett Torneden, Overbrook, Nancie Bryant, Oskaloosa, Sandra Smith, Ozawkie, Sherry Williams and Reta Solwa, both of Tonganoxie, and Shirley Gilbert, Overland Park; a brother, Jasper DeMaranville, Basehor; three sisters, Stella Standish, Basehor, Mary Neiman, McLouth, and Sharon Martin, Bonner Springs; 26 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
