Henry David Johnson 1940 - 2010 Bonner Springs

Services for Henry David Johnson, 69, rural Bonner Springs, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mount Sidney Cemetery, Linwood.
Mr. Johnson died Saturday April 10, 2010.
He was born Dec. 28, 1940, in Columbus, Kan., the son of Hank and Freda Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was retired from JC Penney Distribution Center in Lenexa, where he worked in maintenance. He moved from Lenexa to rural Bonner Springs 25 years ago.
Survivors include three children, Barbara Johnson and Michael Nixon, Kansas City, Kan., David Johnson and wife, Laurie, Merriam, and Kimberly Johnson and Kenneth Farmer, Lenexa; their mother, Tommie Ann Johnson, Lenexa; six siblings, Doris and Junior Caswell, Kansas City, Kan., Lucile and John Canada, Bill and Diane Johnson, and Archie Johnson, all of Chetopa, Bob and Sharon Johnson, Olathe, and Linda Castle, Bonner Springs; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; his significant other, Rita Fields, Basehor, and her children, Denell and Daniel Fields.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, sent in care of the funeral home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
