Joseph John Maslak 1922 - 2010 Wellsville

Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph John Maslak, 88, Wellsville, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, at All Saints Catholic Church, Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Maslak died Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Wellsville Nursing Home.
He was born April 2, 1922, in Kansas City, Kan., and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Maslak was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having served in England where he met and married his wife. He had worked for Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corp. for many years, retiring in the mid-1980s.
His wife of 64 years, Ivy Maslak, died in February. A son, Edward Maslak, died in 2006, and a grandson, Brian Buckley, died in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Buckley, Ottawa; a grandson; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs. A rosary service will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
