Edward Lee Bradford 1930 - 2010 Tonganoxie
Mass of Christian Burial for Edward Lee Bradford, 79, Tonganoxie, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 18, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tonganoxie.
Inurnment will be at Maple Groves Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Visitation will be before Mass, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.
Mr. Bradford died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at his home. He was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Leavenworth, the son of John E. “Pat” and Estella M. Gensler Bradford. He was a 1948 graduate of Winchester High School. “Ed” has lived in Tonganoxie seven years, moving from Littleton, Colo., where he had lived for 20 years after living in Lansing for 15 years. Mr. Bradford worked at Behee’s Paint Store and was co-owner of Bradford Powers Paint in Leavenworth. He also served as manager of Cook Paint in Leavenworth and Greeley, Colo., before managing Sherwin Williams in Denver, where he retired in 1995. Mr. Bradford was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tonganoxie and was a former member of the Lansing Lions Club. He was married to Rosemary Sieben on Oct. 29, 1949, in Easton. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include: a son, David (Gail) Bradford, Centennial, Colo.; two daughters, Marylee Ann Berry, McLouth, and Kimberly Bradford, Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Bradford, in 1997.
