James Coleman 2014 - 2010

Bonner Springs — Services for James “Jim” Ray Coleman, 95, Bonner Springs, Kan., were Saturday, March 17, at Bonner Springs United Methodist Church. Burial was in Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Coleman died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his home.
He was born Sept. 7, 1914, in Edwardsville, and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Coleman was a longtime member of Bonner Springs United Methodist Church. He owned and operated Coleman Equipment Co. in Bonner Springs for 70 years, originally known as Coleman Coal and Feed and later as Coleman Implement. He was one of the largest Case dealerships in the United States.
Mr. Coleman was a big supporter of and contributor to the National Agriculture Center and Hall of Fame, and he was a member of the Bonner Springs Masonic Lodge for more than 55 years.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Golden Coleman, of the home; two sons, Del Coleman and Bruce Coleman, both of Bonner Springs; two daughters, Sharon Nyman, Las Vegas, and Linda Edgell, Basehor; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
