Helen A. Savage 1918 - 2010 Overland Park

Services for Helen A. Savage, 91, of Overland Park, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs. Burial will be in Edwardsville Cemetery in Edwardsville.
Mrs. Savage died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Overland Park.
She was born Dec. 20, 1918, near Joplin, Mo., and had lived most of her life in the Bonner Springs-Edwardsville area. She was an accomplished seamstress for many years and enjoyed working for professional designers.
Mrs. Savage was a life member of the Bonner Springs Order of the Eastern Star and was a past worthy matron.
Her husband of 35 years, Robert “Bob” Savage, died in 1969; a son, Johnny Bob Savage, died in 1941.
Survivors include a daughter, Delores Savage Abbott, Bonner Springs; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
