Emma Jane "E.J." Rehm 1933 - 2011 Bonner Springs

Private services for Emma Jane “E.J.” Rehm, 78, Bonner Springs, will be at a later date.
Mrs. Rehm died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Bonner Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Feb. 19, 1933, in Gothenburg, Neb., the daughter of Oliver and Ethel Norsworthy.
In 1951, she graduated from Gothenburg High School and moved to Bonner Springs, Kan., to live with her aunt and uncle, Rhoda and Ercel Frazier. During the 1950s, she worked as a secretary for the National Hereford Association in Kansas City, Mo., and later Safeway Cereals in Bonner Springs.
Mrs. Rehm was an avid birdwatcher and kept a list of all the species she had observed over the years. She studied her Bible daily and was a voracious reader, reading 30 or more books a year.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, William F. Rehm Jr.; daughters Susan Rehm and Julie Rehm, both of Kansas City, Mo.; sons Bill (Susan) Rehm Beaverton, Ore., and Jeff Rehm, Bonner Springs; three grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Ann Porter, Gothenburg, Neb.; and a brother, Duane Norsworthy, Corpus Christi, Texas.
