Obituaries

Services for Charles R. Harrison, 73, Tonganoxie, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Basehor.
Mr. Harrison died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at his home.
He was born June 25, 1937, in Miller County, Mo., the son of Ora Mae Harrison.
He was a member of Basehor Rustlers 4-H Club, Wyandotte County Genealogy Club and National Campers and Hikers Association. He worked as an equipment operator for the Board of Public Utilities, Kansas City, Kan.
On June 22, 1956, he married Barbra Lilleston in Shawnee Mission; she survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Daryle (Susan) Harrison, Basehor and David (Emily) Harrison, McLouth; three daughters, Debbie (Greg) May, Olathe, Diana San Roman, Mission, and Denise (Victor) Webb, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Gene “Tuffy” (Betty) Harrison, Oak Grove, Mo.; a half sister, Eva Jo (Melvin) Vaughan, Eldon, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for an hour before the service time at the funeral home.
