Wallace R. Randall 2011 - 2011
Bonner Springs — Services for Wallace R. “Ray” Randall, 81, Bonner Springs, will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bonner Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Randall died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at his home.
He was born June 20, 1929, in Lenape, the son of Albert and Opal (Kern) Randall. He had been a lifelong area resident, growing up near De Soto, then moving in 1953 to Bonner Springs.
Mr. Randall was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by Greeley Gas Co., now Atmos Energy, for 40 years until his retirement in 1994.
He married Ida Smithson in September 1953; she survives of the home.
Other survivors include three children, Larry (Neva) Randall, Marilyn Randall and Tim Randall, all of Bonner Springs; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Martha Boatright, Bonner Springs.
Visitation will be prior to the service, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association, sent in care of the funeral home, 214 Oak St., Bonner Springs, KS 66012.
