J. Ed Lynn 1942 - 2011
Phoenix — Services for J. Ed Lynn, 68, Phoenix, formerly of Bonner Springs, were Tuesday, March 22, at Moon Valley Country Club, Phoenix. Private internment was scheduled at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Lynn died Tuesday, March 15, 2011.
He was born Nov. 29, 1942, in Bonner Springs, the son of Oliver and Edith Lynn and was a graduate of Bonner Springs High School. He attended Rockhurst College and the University of Missouri. He lived all over the country before settling in 1976 in the Phoenix area.
Mr. Lynn began with Armour and Company and then continued his career with Cudahy Foods, training management and sales staff. He founded American Pantry, which he sold in 1999. He was a founding member and chairman of the board of RepublicBankAZ, and partner in several real estate developments in Arizona.
He was a longtime member and past president of the Moon Valley Country Club and a member of the Masonic Lodge since 1970.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Judy; a son, Randy (Amanda) Lynn, Spring Hill, Tenn.; two daughters, Melissa (Mark) Settle, Flagstaff, Ariz., and Susan (George) Lynn Odimegwu, Spring Hill, Tenn.; a sister, Allene Drennon, Bonner Springs; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
