James I. Hockman 1943 - 2011

Tonganoxie — Services for James I. Hockman, 68, Tonganoxie, were Monday, Jan. 2, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Hockman died Thursday Dec. 29, 2011.
He was born Jan. 12, 1943, in Topeka, the son of Harold and Lillie (Benedict) Hockman.  He began work as a mechanic in 1963 with Stone Wolfe Rambler, which later became Wolfe Camping Center, Jay Wolfe Chevrolet and Jay Wolfe Honda. At the time of his retirement, he was their longest employed associate. He attended Lenexa Christian Center.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Opal Hockman; two daughters, Opal M. Hockman and Christine Hockman, both of Lawrence; a brother; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
