Carroll (Cory) Clark 1937 - 2012 Spring Hill

Carroll (Cory) Clark age 75 of Spring Hill and previously of Bonner Springs, KS. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 while surrounded by his loving family at his home. Memorial Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at the First Christian Church of Bonner Springs. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the First Christian Church or the Olathe Hospice House both in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Cory was born the fifth of nine children to Wilbur and Carrie Clark, on October 20, 1937 in Elkton, CO. He attended Paseo High School in Kansas City, MO. then served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. Cory retired after a 34 year career with the Union Pacific Railroad as a Conductor. He was a longtime member and was proud to serve as an Elder of the First Christian Church of Bonner Springs. Cory enjoyed spending time with his many grandchildren and studying God’s Word with his church’s Men’s Group. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and James and one great-grandson Joshua. Survivors include his wife of 51 years Juanita (Pickett) Clark of the home, 8 children: James and Cheryl Clark of Gilbert, AZ., Keith Clark of Omaha, NE., Chris, Craig and Carol Clark of Bonner Springs, KS., Kyle and Shelly Clark of Spring Hill, KS., Kelly and James Stevenson of Edwardsville, KS., and Carrie and John Milkanin of Canton, OH., as well as numerous grandchildren and a growing number of great-grandchildren. His surviving siblings include two brothers, Warren and Wallace Clark, and four sisters, Mary Ellen Wood, Bonnie McKenzie, Marjorie Garland and Nita Ruth Baltzell.
