Edward “Eddie” H. Jennings 1917 - 2013 Bonner Springs

Edward “Eddie” H. Jennings, Age 95 of Bonner Springs, Kansas passed away on Sunday April 7, 2013. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 11th at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Sunflower Hospice of Lansing or Grace Hospice of Topeka both in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Eddie was born on May 10, 1917 in Perry, Kansas. He was the Director of Weed Control for Wyandotte County for many years. In his retirement he and his wife Dorothy enjoyed traveling in their RV, camping, fishing and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy May Jennings in Oct. 1999, one son Bill Jennings in 2003 and one daughter Bonnie Hein in 2011. Survivors include one step-son Don Beers of Bonner Springs, KS., 9 grandchildren Marty, Rajean, Marci, Jed, Cindy, Debbie, Sandy, Patti and Alicia, 20 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great granddaughter.
