Glenn “Bill” Knight, 88, Basehor, KS passed away Monday, Nov. 4th, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Sat., Nov. 9, at Calvary Bible Church 518 W. Insley in Bonner Springs, KS with burial to follow in the Bonner Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the visitation from 9 to 11 am, Sat. morning prior to the service at the church. The family suggest memorial contributions to the Calvary Bible Church or the Walnut Grove Bible Church.
Bill was born May 18, 1925 in Linwood, KS. After graduating from Linwood High School in 1943 he later moved to Brawley, CA after the flood in 1951. While in California he worked for his uncle and took Architecture classes and began his career as a Home Builder and General Contractor. He was a long time member of the Elks Lodge for over 40 years. And moved back to the Bonner Springs area in 2004.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Walker Knight of the home. 2 Sons William Kenneth Knight and Howard Knight. One Sister Mary Scoggins as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews other family and friends that will miss him greatly.
