Only one who takes after my own heart is Phil. Network TV and the lame political hacks that our former mayor (wonder why he's a "former" mayor? -- oh, maybe it's because he's a liberal in a red state) cites are populism.
One of the reasons that we, as a country, are AWOL as our govt careens us toward the cliff of national socialism is due to the "bread and circuses" that the networks pawn on us. How many of you know of the parliamentary tactic that the dem controlled Congress are going to use to push Obamacare through WITHOUT a debate and WITHOUT a floor vote?! Probably never heard about that due to Jon Stewart not talking about and it never being a topic on Grey's Anatomy.
