Did you attend Saturday’s Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting or Christmas Around Town?

We did not attend the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting at City Hall, but we have been to Crown Center and the Country Club Plaza to see the lights and shop.

I was not able to attend this year but have attended in the past. The merchants and city do a great job creating family-friendly activities in a festive setting. The Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund is a valuable resource for local charities.

We did not attend the lighting but did drive by, and the tree looks magnificent. Shawnee’s downtown always looks so nice at Christmastime.
