Do you approve of the statewide public smoking ban recently passed by the Kansas Legislature?

“I wholeheartedly agree with the smoking ban. It’s been proven that smoking causes deadly diseases, and non-smokers should not be subjected to those effects secondhand.”
JoAnn Mayo ( in Shawnee) says...
“I do approve of the ban. However, I don’t believe it is fair to exclude casinos.”
Kristin Wagner ( in Shawnee) says...
“Yes. People who choose not to smoke shouldn’t be subject to the cancer-causing, second-hand smoke of those who do, especially in public places.”
Robin Frazee ( in Olathe) says...
“As a non-smoker, I appreciate a smoke-free environment. I make a conscious choice to avoid places where smoking is allowed. I wonder if legislation is necessary since most people are like me and self-regulate.”
